Job Posting: Graphical Software Developer

Description: Hue AS is looking for strong software developers that thrive on
creating graphical workflows for the visualization of extremely large volume
datasets, tricky & complex geometry and demanding use cases. This role will
involve integrating HueSpace2 into proprietary or 3rd-party applications,
onsite and directly with the customer. The developer will also extend the
HueSpace2 SDK when needed to support client feature requests or make
optimizations. 

Key responsibilities:

* Integrate HueSpace2 with existing third-party and proprietary applications
* Development of internal HueSpace2 SDK & HueSpace2 extensions/plug-ins
* Creation of domain objects, including:
  - OpenGL/GLSL
  - Level-of-detail optimizations
  - Data formats, optimized I/O
  - User interfaces & interaction methods
* Client interaction from requirements to implementation and follow up with end users
* Some domestic and international travel

Qualifications:

* Expert level C++ and OOP (C#/.NET experience is welcome)
* Strong OpenGL API
* Qt & Winforms preferred
* Windows and/or Linux development environments
* Willing to relocate to Houston, Texas

commercially available high performance volume rendering solution which runs
on PC clusters. Our products are HueViewer, HueSpace Server and HueSpace

Finetooth, Inc. in Houston, Texas and together they work closely to provide
interactive data processing and interpretive workflows using HueSpace2 as a
