Job Title: Computer Forensic Paraprofessional
KPMG ForensicSM professionals assist organizations in their efforts to
achieve the highest level of business integrity through the detection,
prevention and investigation of fraud and misconduct. Our Forensic
professionals strive to not only help our clients discover the facts
underlying concerns about fraud and misconduct, but also assist clients in
assessing their vulnerabilities to such activities, and in developing
controls and programs to address these risks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the computer forensic services practice
- Obtain, catalog, and maintain evidence in an automated tracking system
- Data entry and reconciliation of Forensic evidence
- Run queries and generate reports from a tracking system
- Coordinate with professionals regarding processing of Digital Evidence
- Summarize, analyze, and prepare analysis reports and finding in a clear,
logical and concise manner
- Assess and troubleshoot a variety of technical issues
- Support a computer forensic lab in a technically secure environment
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux or Windows operating systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and good problem solving skills
- Proficiency with PC hardware and networking
- Moderate to extensive level of travel
