Title:  Engineering Assistant

Location:  HP main campus on hwy 249

Duration:  Long term

Pay: DOE

 

Job Duties: Work in our QA validation lab doing testing of diagnostics
software on HP servers. This is a lower level job so the ideal candidate
will have a BS (technical) degree with 1-2 years of testing or server
related experience or equivalent experience.  Must be knowledgeable with
server hardware.  Linux and Windows OS.  The best candidates are sharp,
go getters that will take initiative, seek out and resolve problems, and
be technically savvy with computer/server hardware.

 

1.	Experience with Compaq Proliant servers.  
2.	Able to install/replace internal server components such as hard
drive, video card, motherboard, NIC cards, etc. 
3.	Load Windows and Linux Operating Systems on servers. 
4.	Troubleshoot issues. 
5.	Set up the servers to run tests for the CTO (configure to order)
and BTO (build to order) server products. 

 

**Certifications are a plus.

**Prior Compaq experience preferred.

**Must be a sharp, energetic, go getter type
