Unfortunately Dr. Burris does not currently teach a "deadly ninja skillz" class. Is the implementation of such a class something we can look forward to with the new accreditation or will CS majors be forced to carry on the traditions of PUG in order to hone said DEADLY NINJA SKILLZ?

The working conditions sound great. I sure wish law firms would take a lesson from the software companies and offer such amenities.

Hi,

I'm trying to find a senior hard-core UNIX sysadmin (or three). Significant experience with large scale storage and/or grid computing would be a big plus. As would deadly ninja skillz. Pay is good. Work environment is great -- a lot closer to a West Coast startup than your typical Houston shop (shorts and sandals all week; free snacks, sodas, espresso, etc). A lot of really smart people work here already so I'm looking for more of the same.

I can use someone without any interest in management, or someone that wants to run a team.

Thanks for your help -- feel free to pass this along to someone else that might know someone.

Current projects: implementing a large (multi-petabyte) online storage solution; rolling out a new software product
Upcoming projects: Fire up HA/load-balancing data center in Atlanta; design and implement tiered storage solution for online storage we're building now.
