[Shacs] switching to mac - need some advice

Thanks for the tips Kevin. Yeah, it's a notebook I'm after.
I have a glossy Sony Vaio *blliaaahhh*, and I find it more of an impediment
regardless of my end use. This one replaced my flat (matte?) screen which I
much preferred-- it was just as bright as far as I could tell.. You wrote
glossy for multimedia-- why is that?
