[Shacs] switching to mac - need some advice

Thanks, all for your continued responses both on- and off-line.
Dr B-- it's time to face the music and trade in that CPM w/320k 8" floppy
for a mac. I hear you can compile COBOL on them, too.
Besides stability and funny marketing, the Apple looks and works very nicely
out of the box. For those problem spots, Windows can still run under
virtualization or on as its own boot. It's just that if someone is waving a
machine that can handle everything (and do it well) and one that does only
one thing, it's kind of a no-brainer.. no skin off my back to accept the
beefier box.
