Software Test Analyst

Luminex Corporation is looking for a Software Test Analyst to help
develop and perform software tests. We are searching for an individual
with experience in software testing, the ability to work within a team,
and a passion for developing the best software possible. This individual
will report to the Engineering Testing Group Manager. Enthusiasm and the
ability to work on a variety of projects are necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities of Position: Testing, and supporting software
products for an OEM device.
Work with the development team to write and perform software tests.
Participate in design and code reviews, and communicate technical
concepts clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Obtain an in-depth working knowledge of our products and their targeted
users.
Describe software defects utilizing automated bug tracking tools.
Experience/Education Required/Desired: Relevant 2 or 4 year degree (CS,
CE, Biology, Physics).
Minimum 3 years of software testing experience or 4 year degree in
scientific discipline such as computer science, biology, physics etc.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience with hands-on manual software testing.
Experience with bug tracking software such as Bugzilla.
Experience developing test software using C#, C/C++ or other relevant
languages, .net, XML, NUnit, MS Testing Framework, and object oriented
design techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO/FDA regulations is a plus.
