I used to make fun of kp for what sounded to me like 3 or 4 jobs in 3mo
right out of the chute, but then I learned, "ok, it's IT."  Well, take that
a step further, and read the article linked below: it's not just our
industry, but our youthfulness industry loves a feeling of usefulness:

Just when you think academics/govt doesn't really apply here, see the last
few paragraphs: it's the nature of not having those high tech latest gadgets
out there as tools to use...

I thought it was an interesting article anyone looking for jobs would enjoy.
