Computer interrupt vectors, human interrupt vectors; they're pretty much the same thing. Both are hackable and thus it's important to keep up with how to best defend against attacks by knowing the methodologies behind them.

So yeah, I can see how you'd be disturbed by my blatant acknowledgement of a need to defend my interrupt vectors.

Perhaps, but then I've seen organizations perform effective attacks on their IT staff by stymieing them with an overwhelming assault of interruptive requests. Here's one example out of the many approaches taken: http://ars.userfriendly.org/cartoons/?id=20080812
