[Shacs] Computer Science Program Accreditation

Most, but perhaps not all, of you are aware that the undergraduate  
computer science program at SAM received accreditation from the  
Computer Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for  
Engineering and Technology (CAC/ABET) last year.

As part of this accreditation process we are subject to periodic  
reviews, and, in common with most newly accredited programs, an on- 
site review is required; ours is scheduled for late October.  One  of  
the key elements in our processes to receive continued accreditation  
is to gather data from both recent graduates and alumni concerning the  
quality of the program.  To do that I need your help.

If you graduated from the undergraduate program in the last 12 months  
I would ask that you complete a simple on-line survey for us.  The  
survey can be found at http://cs.shsu.edu/surveys/exit_interview.php

If you are an alum who graduated from the undergraduate program prior  
to fall 2007, I'd be grateful if you could complete a similar survey  
at http://cs.shsu.edu/surveys/alumni_survey.php

Each of these surveys will only take a few moments.  We are looking  
for open and honest feedback so that we can improve the quality of our  
program and of our future graduates.
