OK, after much thought (and consideration of Eric's review) I have to
agree that the hardware seems to be underpowered and certainly can't take
advantage of the advanced features found within OS 10.5.

Therefore, I agree with Josh that probably the only thing you'd want to
run on this would be Linux (or maybe OpenBSD).
