[Shacs] security in current SHSU software engineering classes?

OK, so several of us in the Web Security class (Digital Forensics program
at SHSU) are discussing how much "security" is covered in the current
undergrad software engineering classes. Since we've all been out of the
undergrad program for years I thought I'd send an email and see if anyone
currently in the undergrad CS program can provide details.

Are information assurance (e.g., computer security, communications
security, etc.) topics covered in any of your classes? By that I mean
stuff like input validation (bounds checking, type checking, etc.),
limiting the extensibility of classes, wrapper methods, etc. taught (or
even mentioned) in any of your classes?

Thanks,

Kevin
