Job Description
Raytheon Solipsys is augmenting its multi-disciplined staff with the best and brightest talent available. We are currently searching for a motivated and flexible software engineer who can work effectively in both a team environment and independently. Successful candidate will demonstrate solid technical capability and leadership/interpersonnel skills, as well as impressive communication, presentation and organizational skills. This position includes responsibility for requirements analysis, design and software implementation.
Required Skills

    * Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 3-7 years software development experience
    * Demonstrated skills in Java and J2SDK core libraries and optionally, other object-oriented languages
    * GUI design and implementation - AWT/ Java Swing a + and optionally, other GUI toolkits
    * Object-oriented design patterns Windows, Unix, and IP-based networking
    * Performance in a dynamic, multi-tasked team environment
    * Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
    * Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position at Raytheon Solipsys requires U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.
