TETC is hosting a Leadership Development Conference at Southern
Methodist University from October 5th - 8th. The purpose of the
conference is "to prepare students for successful internship
experiences and to share best practices around the critical skills
needed in the workforce."
The conference is made possible by grant funds provided to TETC by the
Texas Workforce Commission. The conference is free of charge to
attendees and includes the conference, publications, meals and
lodging. The only cost to students is travel to and from the
conference which the department of computer science will cover. The
conference organizers are looking for the top engineering and computer
science students to attend.
