[Shacs] Burris Spring Party

Dr. and Mrs. Burris are having a spring/end of year party for SHACS, CS, DF, and IA majors Saturday April 25 at the Burris abode starting at 5:00 P.M.  Food and drinks will be served.  Dress for an outside picnic setting.  We will have tables set up for cards and dominos on the porch and lawn.   Feel free to bring you own games.  Croquet will be available for those with enough sense not to injure their bodies.  Please do not follow the example of graduates working for Computer Services.  They consistently inflict pain on their person with a mallet, especially when playing faculty.  Bring your spouse, date (but not both), and children.
Directions to the Burris house at 3357 Pine Grove Drive :
>From the university, travel west out of town on FM 1374 crossing IH45.  You will pass the Dairy Queen on your left (SHSU side of the highway) as you cross the interstate.  You will pass Region VI Educational Service Center, on your right about ¼ mile from the interstate.  Approximately 1-1/2 miles down FM 1374 you will pass the entrance to Spring Lake Subdivision on the left, a house, and a white frame church.  The first road to the left after the church is the entrance to Pine Shadows Subdivision.  The road makes an "L" to the right after entering the subdivision.  Take the first left after making the "L" on Pine Grove Drive.  The Burris abode is the last house on the left at the bottom of the hill.   Phone: 936-295-8062
