[Banner-hr-payroll] Important ePAF Updates Coming

Hello!

You are receiving this message as a result of your role as an originator and/or approver of ePAFS, SHSU's online personnel action form system on Banner Self-Service.

Please note that - effective 6.1.2016 - two changes will occur in the data required for certain ePAFS.

1)            The social security number requirement has been removed from most ePAFS.
2)            The end job assignment dates have been removed from three different ePAFS for student employees only.  ePAFS involved include:
a.            AJOB06 - Additional Job Assignment
b.            UPJA05 - Change Current Job Assignment
c.             HIRE51 - New Hire

Removing the end date will allow departments to submit either an "end job" or "separate" ePAF once the student has truly ended their employment, rather than projecting an estimated date for the future.  The decision to do "end job" vs "separation" should be driven by whether the student has begun working elsewhere on campus.

The changes above will not impact any ePAFS that have already been submitted for approval.
