This week we kicks off our 11th annual SHSU International Week, hosted by the International Student Organization and the Office of International Programs. Information about International Week is below and the poster is attached.

If you are interested in studying abroad I highly recommend the Study Abroad Student Perspectives Panel on Wednesday at 3.45pm. Study abroad alumni will share their experiences and answers your questions.

Tuesday, April 17:
Keynote Speaker Dr. Siham Bouamer
When and Where: 5:30 p.m. in AB4, Olson Auditorium
About: Join Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies Dr. Siham Bouamer as she discusses her work with student organizations and promoting diversity on campus. Free food! Chance to win prizes!

Wednesday, April 18:
Study Abroad Fair
When and Where: 11-1 p.m. in the LSC Mall
About: Did you know that SHSU students can study abroad in more than 40 countries? Drop by the fair and learn about which opportunities may be right for you. Affiliated partners SOL, API, and ISA will attend.

International Student Perspective Panel
When and Where: 3-3:45 p.m. in the Smith-Hutson Business Building, Mafrige Auditorium
About: Listen to SHSU international students from Turkey, Korea, China, Brazil, and Nigeria discuss their experiences on campus, in Texas, and living in the U.S. Chance to win prizes!

Study Abroad Student Perspectives Panel
When and Where: 3:45-4:30 p.m. in the Smith-Hutson Business Building, Mafrige Auditorium
About: Listen to SHSU students who studied abroad in Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Slovenia, Korea, and Morocco discuss their experiences abroad. Chance to win prizes!

International Potluck Dinner
When and Where: 7-9 p.m. in the Baptist Student Ministry House
About: Join the International Student Organization for food from around the world. Bring a dish to share and introduce everyone to your favorite food from back home!

Thursday, April 19:
International Student Fair
When and Where: 10-1:30 p.m. in the LSC Mall
About: Meet international students from around the world and learn more about their cultures. Everyone who visits the fair will have the opportunity to get passport stamps and earn an international snack bag and free t-shirt!
