If you are, or want to, study abroad Spring 2019 make sure you submit a scholarship application to Funds for Education Abroad! Start working on your application early and let me know if you have any questions. See below for more info.
(Also don't forget to submit your spring application to study abroad as soon as possible if you haven't already)

"The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) application cycle to uniquely fund Spring 2019 is open! Please visit our website: http://fundforeducationabroad.org/applicants/ for information about our requirements, our scholarship opportunities, and a link to our application.

For the first time ever, FEA will host a dedicated Spring application cycle, only awarding for programs starting in Spring 2019. The application for Spring 2019 will close on September 18 at 12 PM EST.

In addition to offering general scholarship opportunities, FEA has partnered with a number of program providers to identify and fund underrepresented students to go on their programs. In the Spring 2019 application cycle, Access Partners CET Academic Programs, Institute for Study Abroad, and USAC: University Studies Abroad Coalition have available scholarship funding. Other Access Partners, including AIFS (SHSU partner), CAPA The Global Education Network, CIEE, The Intern Group, SIT World Learning, and the University of Auckland, may offer additional funding opportunities as well. For a full list of Access Partners, please visit us online at https://fundforeducationabroad.org/access-partner-scholarships/.

FEA scholarships are awarded with a preference for underrepresented students and those with a demonstrated financial need. Including this year's recipients, a total of 268 scholars, including minority, first-generation college and community college students, have benefited from over $1.3 million in scholarships granted since FEA's inception in 2010. In the last FEA application cycle, 93% of the students awarded were of minority backgrounds, and 91% were first-generation college students. Additionally, 32% of scholars have a community college background."
