Did you know that you can learn Arabic at SHSU through the Department of World Languages and Cultures?

The Minor in Middle Eastern Studies pairs nicely with most majors, especially Business, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Sociology, Communication, Education, and ROTC. Arabic language proficiency is in great demand for government jobs (CIA, military, translators, law enforcement, etc.), in hospitals and in the oil industry.
