MIT and Job Search

[MT-PRO Music Therapy List]

Just curious, I haven't heard the term "MIT" before.  Can someone explain to 
me what that is?  
 
I am again looking for a job with children due to unforeseen circumstances.  
I'd like something either in the New York or San Francisco area, if anyone 
has any referrals for me I would greatly appreciate it.
