[MT-PRO Music Therapy List]

The Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA), a program of the Music
Institute of Chicago, is seeking an MT-BC for a 3/4 time position to
develop into a full-time position.  ITA serves a variety of populations
in Chicago and the northern suburbs.  Applicants should be comfortable
working with DD children & adults in groups and 1:1, comfortable singing
at the piano and with the guitar, have experience working with
adolescent BD clients, able to teach adaptive music skills, and willing
to use and develop a vast array of clinical skills and techniques.  The
applicant must have a car and interest in working with a dynamic team of
music, art, drama, dance/movement, and family therapists within the
