In response to Katrina's situation about working in diverse areas:

I too work in homes and community settings due to the "natural environment"
law that was passed in Georgia in July, 1999.  The government pays for
services and wants only outcome based charting also.  All of my clients have
a "service coordinator" or a "manager" or a "social worker".  What I'm doing
is charting on specific music therapy goals and objectives and passing that
information along to the service coordinators and the families.  It is extra
paper work and the funding source does not see it, but it is educating those
directly involved with the clients.  For the funding source, I submit the
required information only.
