[MT-PRO Music Therapy List]

I work at a Psych hospital full time.  We, MT/TR provide 4 hours of group,
have one hour for assessments and the remainder to chart, be on committees,
etc.  We have two different forms for charting that has really helped cut
the time needed.  We also have a fairly short assessment, which in an acute
setting makes a big difference.  We have the patients brought to us for 50
min groups and escort the patients back at the conclusion of group.  Our
group size varies from 1 - 9 clients; however, we chart daily on the
patients on our case load, including those who didn't attend that day.  We
also enter charges into the computer which takes about 15-20 minutes a day. 
Prep time is sporadic and we generally fit it in where ever we can.
