I remember asking a similar question in a practicum.  We did movements to Enya
which worked for a while until I had them sit on the floor.  Apparently that was
asking too much and I lost them for a while.  I remember they - upper elementary
kids - really liked fast top 40 tunes.  What about re arranging some top 40
songs - or more importantly whatever they like - into less pronounced rhythms,
softer timbres, simpler instrumentation etc.?  Maybe have some iso-principle
elements within the song itself.  It may be good to revisit the Muzak material
in Dr. Radocy's book too.
 
Please let me know if you find something that works!  It is an interesting
question! :)
