Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs

Position: Music Therapist

Hours: 7 AM to 2 PM Sunday through Thursday

Salary: A salary of $30,000 per year is offered, with
numerous benefits:

apartment or villa for employee, spouse, and children
travel once per year to home country for employee,
spouse, and up to 3 children
summer vacation and additional leave during the school
year
medical benefits supplied through the Hamad Medical
Corporation
Starting Date: Negotiable

The Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs
provides school and related services for children and
young adults with developmental disabilities,
including but not limited to Down syndrome, autism,
and cerebral palsy w/ concomitant mental retardation. 

We currently employ 2 licensed music therapists and
desire to increase services in this department.
Licensure at the Bachelors or Masters level is
required. Priority for therapy is given to children
and young adults who are nonverbal.
