Study Skills Series 

The Student Advising and Mentoring Center (SAM Center) will begin its
Study Skills Series the week of September 12. This series is comprised
of six sessions covering material for academic success such as time
management, how to avoid procrastination, and note-taking and
test-taking suggestions. Classes are free and offered frequently
throughout the day. To secure a spot in the class, go by the SAM Center,
AB4, Room 210, or call 294-4444.

Additionally, a Study Skills Series designed specifically for
non-traditional students will begin the week of September 12. This
program covers materials specific to returning students, such as how to
manage multiple roles and effective stress management. Classes will be
held in the SAM Center, AB4, Room 210.
