Dear NTSO Members,

I know it has been a while since you have heard anything from us. I would
like to apologize and thank you for being so patient with us. There have
been a great number of changes that have taken place in our organization.

First of all John Fennessy has had to step down as president. The current
president is now me, Angi Bremkamp. The Vice-President is Jen Hollinger, and
business manager is Andrea Woodlief. Andrea will only be with us until
December so we will need to elect a new business manager toward the end of
the semester. Some of the other changes are posted on the meeting minutes
for the September meeting, which will be sent via listserv right now.

We will be having a meeting as soon as we can this month. What I need from
all members is, a time when it will be more appropriate for you (the
members) to come to the meetings. It is important that we have more people
present at the meetings to have our organization taken seriously. Please
post on listserv (ntso at shsu.edu) which works better for you, Tuesdays or
Wednesdays and a good time for you to make it. I will do my best to make the
meetings at a time when the most people are going to show up. I understand
that we all have jobs and families and a great many things going on. I am
trying to work with everybody the best that I can. We need to have this done
as soon as possible. Our organization is now going to have some money so
that we can do more. One of the things is we plan to have lunches or at
least refreshments at the meetings.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to post it on the
listserv or email me directly at alb017 at shsu.edu . I would love to hear from
you. I look forward to being the best leader that I can and working with all
of you. I am also honored to be your president. May this be an outstanding
year for NTSO! Please tell your friends about us. I hope to see or hear from
all of you very soon.

Angi Bremkamp
President-2006/2007
Non-Traditional Student Organization
