Subject: Boys & Girls Club Food Drive & Angel Wish Christmas Program

Hi everyone,
The week of Nov. 16th- Nov. 20th Boys & Girls Club is sponsoring a food drive to help the Good Shepherd Mission Homeless Shelter. If you or your organization would like to bring can goods or non-perishable food items to MLK Recreation Boys & Girls Club on MLK Dr., that would be awesome.

We also do an "Angel Wish Christmas Program" for the kids at the Clubs. Many SHSU organizations and area businesses select our kids to fill their Christmas wishlist. If this is something your organization or business would be interested in just let me know. The kids fill out a wishlist and return it to the Clubs. If your group wants to participate, you all can decide how many kids you would like to sponsor. One child or 20 children, no number is too big or too small. It is totally up to you. Boys & Girls Club serves about 250 to 300 kids daily in 2 locations, Scott Johnson Elementary School and Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center.
