Subject: survey information for SPSP listserv
Hello SPSP members-
I am conducting a survey of heterosexual couples (dating casually,
exclusively, engaged, married), and am looking for volunteers who
would be willing to complete an on-line survey within 24 hours of
their partner. This study has been approved by the Institutional
Review Board at the University of Connecticut. All responses are
anonymous and confidential, and are not seen by one's partner. If you
would be interested in participating, please read the description
below. And please, feel free to pass this information along to
anyone else you know! Thanks.
---------------------------------------------
We are conducting a study about the types of thoughts and feelings
that influence behaviors within heterosexual, intimate relationships.
Specifically, we would like to try to understand relationship
problems having to do with communication, trust, sexual behaviors,
and feelings. If you are currently in an intimate relationship with
someone of the opposite sex, and are over the age of 18, we would
like to invite you and your partner to complete a 30-minute on-line
survey within 24 hours of each other.
When completing the survey, you will be asked to enter your first and
last initials and birthdays in order for us to match you and your
partner's surveys together. This is the only identifying information
that we will collect about you, and it will be deleted after your
surveys are paired together.
In addition, you have the option to volunteer for a raffle for a $100
gift certificate from Amazon.com for your participation. If you and
your partner are interested in participating, please go to
https://www.psychdata.com/surveys.asp?SID=8964 to find out more.
Thanks!
