Research Assistant Needed






JOB SUMMARY:

The Research Assistant will be an essential resource in the
successful operation of eHarmony's laboratory research studies.  This
is the perfect opportunity for someone with an advanced degree in
Psychology and experience in a laboratory setting who wants to make a
meaningful difference in the lives of others.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Running complex social interaction laboratory sessions.

·         Interviewing participants.

·         Scheduling sessions.

·         Responsible for managing large amounts of electronic data.

·         Behavioral coding of videotaped social interactions.

·         Manage searches and summaries of psychological literature.

·         Assistance in day to day operations of the laboratory which
include:  organizing talks, placing study ads, coordinating speaker
schedules, etc.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

*       M. A. in Psychology or related field or B. A. in Psychology
with applicable research experience
*       Experience coding videotapes
*       Clinical/interview skills
*       Basic statistical analysis skills:  SPSS
*       Database management
*       Strong writing skills
*       Availability to work weekends/evenings required
