Phoenix House currently seeks a licensed Counselor to provide the primary counseling services to youth clients and their families in outpatient treatment. This position provides outpatient counseling at a variety of locations, including client homes. Frequent travel in the North Harris county and Montgomery county area is required.
Primary duties include:
*	Performs primary counselor duties to clients and their families to include but are not limited to psychosocial assessments; development of treatment plans; crisis intervention; group, individual, family and didactic sessions; discharge summary and planning; coordination of treatment services with probation, school and other referral sources. Multi-lingual counselors may be asked to provide services in multiple languages to meet the needs of the clients and families. 
*	Provides client case management of related services. 
*	Completes client notes, charts, reports, and other documentation related to the treatment and progress of clients in the program in a timely manner. These reports include but are not limited to individual and weekly progress notes, documentation of attendance and participation in-group, didactics and family sessions. Documentation may include web-based, electronic and/or paper documents.
Minimum qualifications include: 
· LCDC, LPC, LMSW, or other professional counseling license recognized by Texas Dept of State Health Services
· Two or more years counseling experience which include providing adolescents and family services
· Strong crisis management, conflict resolution and anger management skills
· Proficiency in MS Office products and experience utilizing web-based programs
· Good organization and time management skills
· Ability to effectively communicate in both Spanish and English preferred
