Subject: Job Openings with Dallas County CSCD

Dear faculty,

I wanted to make you aware of job openings at the Dallas County CSCD (AKA Adult Probation) that you may want to pass on to masters or doctoral graduates from your programs. Dallas County CSCD is looking for a Clinical Assessment Specialists and two Counselors. I have attached job descriptions for both positions. Both positions offer competitive salaries and supervision toward Licensure as a Psychologist, Psychological Associate, or Licensed Professional Counselor. The Clinical Assessment Specialists position is particularly a great opportunity for those individuals graduating with clinical degrees who would like to gain solid experience in both clinical and forensic assessment. The Counselor position will provide opportunity to gain experience conducting cognitive-behavioral group and individual counseling sessions designed to target criminal thinking and substance abuse in a forensic population.

If you have questions, please contact me at the email address or phone number listed below or Mr. Gerald Crumpton, CATS Manager at 214-653-5295 or gerald.crumpton at dallascounty.org<mailto:gerald.crumpton at dallascounty.org>.

Thank you,

Teresa May-Williams, Ph.D.
Assistant Director
