Hello,
The Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling is looking for a doctoral or master's level graduate assistant to aid with developing research projects and advance the new doctorate in Developmental Education Administration.  For the first year of this position, the GA would serve half of the time working on research projects in higher education administration and half of their time working with our new Dev. Ed. Admin. Doctorate.  This 20 hour/week position is available June 1 and will offer great opportunities to engage in research, publication, and program administration efforts.

If you are aware of strong, interested candidates, please ask them to submit a cover letter and resume to Ms. Allyson Wiley (alw039 at shsu.edu<mailto:alw039 at shsu.edu>) electronically by May 14, 2012.  We will review files at that time and provide candidates with a job description and more details on the program and the assistantship after this initial review.  General job duties are still flexible, but will likely include coordinating survey research efforts, compiling, entering, and analyzing data, and assisting with the doctoral program's efforts.
