Hello Mary Alice.

I thought I would pass this job notice on to you, in case you know of any recent Master's degree graduates who are looking for work. The BOP is hiring for a Master's level clinician for the Sex Offender Management Program. Candidates with some background in sex offender treatment and/or risk assessment are preferred; however, anyone with solid clinical skills is welcome to apply and will be considered.

In case anyone asks, FCI Seagoville is a low-security institution where 40% of the general population consists of convicted sexual offenders. The SOMP program focuses on providing treatment and risk-management to the population. The Treatment Specialist position is heavily focused on providing treatment to groups of up to 24 inmates at a time, and works with a team consisting of another Treatment Specialist, two Psychologists, and one Program Coordinator. Seagoville is located in the southeast portion of Dallas county and is considered part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

If you know of any other places that might have qualified applicants, please let me know. I hope all is well in Huntsville!

Thanks,

Jennifer
