Howdy--

PSYC 7333, Law and Social Psychology, will be offered this summer, and I wanted you to know because (a) it's a very swell course, (b) it won't be offered again for two years, and (c) you are very welcome to take it.

Here's some idea of what to expect if you join the course:

  * Disparate disciplines: Social Science and the Courts -- why don't they listen to us if we're so smart?
  * The Death Penalty -- featuring an evocative visit to the most active execution chamber in the United States
  *   Confessions, false and otherwise
  *   Eyewitnesses, reliable and not
  *   Jury decision making
  *   Law & Culture, a bidirectional relationship

Social psychology has a lot to say about all of these, and it'll be a pleasure to share it with you. The course will meet Wednesday and Friday mornings, 10 to 12, during both summer sessions.

See ya!
