Dear Dr. Anastasi,
I am the science supervisor for testing and assessment services provided to the Houston Fire Department by the City of Houston's Human Resources Department.  We are involved in many personnel psychology projects (e.g. job analysis, survey and test design, test administration, adverse impact analysis, etc.) that are of great practical value to a graduate student intern.

We can offer someone a full-time paid internship starting as early as April 21 through June 30 (potentially 10 full weeks).  On July 1 we will be converting the paid internship to a full-time permanent position as an HR Specialist, so the internship would officially end then.  An intern would have an advantage, but no guarantee and no obligation, if he/she wanted to apply for the permanent position.  More details about the internship are attached.  We would like to start interviewing candidates for the internship next week.  Can you recommend anyone in your program that you think would be interested, ready, and well-suited for our internship?

Additionally, we plan to make at least one part-time internship available in the upcoming fall and spring-so we appreciate staying on your radar.
