Did you know that CHSS has a scholarship?

The College of Humanities & Social Sciences has a Special Graduate Scholarship and you may qualify to receive either a $1,000 or a $500 scholarship for Spring 2016.  If you've applied to this scholarship in the past, there are some new changes.  Please make sure to get the most current form from our website (http://www.shsu.edu/academics/humanities-and-social-sciences/scholarships.html).

Requirements:
*           Combined GRE (V+Q) score of at least 300* or
*           GMAT score of 470 or
*           Appropriate score on the Qualification Rubric
*           Graduate GPA of a 3.7, or if a graduate GPA has not been established, an undergraduate GPA of 3.5

Materials Required:
*           Completed application form (link above)
*           Current, official transcripts (official SHSU transcripts are not required)
*           Two letters of recommendation
*           Updated CV, including publications, contributions, performances, etc.


The deadline is fast approaching, November 11th.
