Hello everyone,

As many of you are aware, GPSO often partners with Psi Chi in order to help
out undergraduate psychology students who want to apply to grad school. Psi
Chi holds three meetings per semester, and discusses topics such as the
grad school application process, writing personal statements, preparing for
interviews, etc. They have asked if a couple of the SHSU grad students
(masters or doctoral) would be willing to attend these meetings in order to
answer questions about such processes.

The first Psi Chi meeting is next* Tuesday, September 13th, at 5 pm*, in
CHSS 242A. They will be covering the basics of applying to grad school and
how to get involved with research during undergrad. I am looking for 2 or 3
grad students to join me at this meeting and share your experiences. This
is a good opportunity to get another line on your CV and be engaged in
departmental citizenship! If you're interested, please let me know as soon
as possible at jessihart at shsu.edu.

GSPO Exec- Jessi

P.S.- Sorry if you got this email more than once, still figuring out these
listserves!
