[Psychmasters] Course Available That May be of Interest

If you want to learn more about working with clients' spiritual and religious issues in counseling and psychotherapy, the Department of Counselor Education at SHSU is offering a course this Fall (2018) that may interest you.

Integrating Spirituality and Religion into
Counseling Practice

It is a three-hour graduate course listed in the Fall schedule of classes as COUN 5088.01 - Special Topics in Counseling. The course will be offered on Tuesday evenings,
6.00 - 8.50 on the Huntsville Campus.

The instructor for the course is Dr. Richard E. Watts.  Dr. Watts is currently a Board Member of the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC), a division of the American Counseling Association, and previously served as Editor of COUNSELING AND VALUES, the ASERVIC professional journal.  He regularly publishes and presents on working with clients' spiritual and religious issues in counseling.
