Graduate Program Deadlines Summer 2018  Masters/Doctoral Degree Candidates College of Humanities and Social Sciences

May 25, 2018 Last day to submit draft thesis/dissertation to library for format and style review.

June 22, 2018 Last day to complete a public defense of the thesis/dissertation.

* Student must start an Electronic Route Sheet, and the department must send a signed report of the outcome of the thesis/dissertation defense to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean's Office.

Last day to submit a letter requesting a permanent embargo for electronic thesis/dissertations to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

June 28, 2018 Last day to submit the following to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean's Office: * Signed report of the outcome of the thesis/dissertation defense. * Final thesis/dissertation or abstract. * Electronic Route Sheet.
 Last day to submit defended and approved thesis/dissertation to the Library through Vireo for second format and style review. Last day to submit thesis/dissertations with approved embargoes.

July 13, 2018 Last day to complete publication of thesis/dissertation through Vireo (or in print for permanent embargo students).
 Last day to submit Electronic Route Sheet to the Director of the Library.

July 16, 2018 Last day to make all final copies of print thesis/dissertation and submit to NGL for binding.

Last day to submit Electronic Route Sheet to the Dean of Graduate Studies.
 July 30, 2018 Report of Comprehensive Examination Form must be signed and submitted to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean's Office by 5:00 p.m.

August 4, 2018 Commencement, TBD

August 6, 2018 All requirements for graduation (including grades) must be completed and processed through the Registrar's Office by 12 noon.
