The Center for Community Engagement Graduate Assistant will work with the professional staff, Director, and Executive Director to provide support with grants (on-the-job training will be provided) in the following ways:
* Seek additional funding sources through grants or corporate sponsorships.
* Promote cross-disciplinary collaborations and help seek funding to support initiatives.
* Increase visibility of ACE-related grant work and/or recognition of ACE professors receiving external funding.
* Become familiar with the CCE database on faculty-community initiatives.
* Coordinate meetings with faculty with similar research interests.
* Locate possible funding that would support faculty research.
* Assist faculty working groups with grant writing and submission.

Duties will include management of the student media team in the Center. This will include assignment of articles, guidance in all stages of the writing process, proof-reading and editing of articles, and ensuring wide distribution of produced media. The Graduate Assistant will also be responsible for creating and distributing newsletters that feature the media created by the student team. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the interests and skills of the Graduate Assistant.
