I want to share something with you that I you find useful.

The 7th Edition of the APA Style Guide has a wonderful section on bias-free language.  With this information, you can help normalize bias-free language while relying on APA as the authority.  You can present it as the expected vocabulary of the profession and not a personal agenda.
