Subject: Paid Research Study for Graduate Students in Mental Health

The D?epartment of Psychology at Wayne State University is conducting a study of psychotherapy skills training approaches for students in mental health programs (e.g., psychology, social work). If you take part in the study, you will be asked to participate in one virtual study session, where you will complete questionnaires and receive a therapy skills training session.

The therapy skills training will focus on ways to help clients disclose traumas and conflicts and express important emotions. Before and immediately after the training and 5 weeks later you will watch and respond to brief video case presentations. You also will complete brief questionnaires on-line before training and at follow-up.

You will be paid $20 for the study session and $10 for completing the follow-up assessment 5 weeks later (a total of $30).
