On Monday, HB 2093, relating to including licensed physician assistants (PAs) in the definition of non-physician mental health professionals, is set for debate on the House floor. We often refer to this as the "PA bill." This session, PAs have narrowed the language to those who have expertise in psychiatry or currently working in a mental health facility. We continue to oppose this bill and are concerned with the use of "or" and not "and." Please make your voice heard in helping us oppose HB 2093 before it is voted on Monday. We have provided a template letter you may edit and add your personal story to.
