The first event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage is scheduled for Sep. 15 at 4 pm as a Zoom event.
Pablo Picasso is one of the most well-known Hispanic artists in history, changing modern art forever. The Spanish painter began as a classical artist before developing his own unique groundbreaking style. Picasso almost certainly produced over 50,000 works of art in his lifetime. Enrique Mallen will present his two recent books Pablo Picasso and Dora Maar: A Period of Conflict (1936–1946) (Sussex, 2021) and Pablo Picasso: The Aphrodite Period (1924–1936) (Sussex, 2020).
