[Psychmasters] Positions Available at UT Southwestern Medical Center

UT Southwestern Medical Center is actively looking to fill multiple positions for the Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care department. Candidates will have an opportunity to work on a variety of depression and suicide studies they are launching. The positions will be reporting and working directly under Maria Monastirsky, the clinical research manager for the department. 2 coordinators – patient facing in a clinical setting - IV Ketamine studies

1 RA – to assist on a variety of tasks

1 coordinator stationed at Children's Medical Center

1 regulatory/QA monitoring person – non patient facing

Adult Ketamine Study

A federally funded five-year clinical trial that aims to identify dysfunctions in neurocircuitry that engender irritability and determine how changes in neurocircuit function related to change in irritability. We are looking for a clinical research coordinator to lead the project. Ideal candidates will have experience running clinical or industry-sponsored research studies in a high paced clinical environment working with a multidisciplinary team while coordinating multiple schedules.

The study is enrolling healthy control adults and adults with primary diagnosis of MDD, ages 18-65 for a 5-week study.


Adolescent Ketamine Study

Federally funded three-year clinical trial that aims to examine the efficacy of ketamine in adolescents who have made a recent suicide attempt or experienced increased suicidal ideation. Research participants will receive either ketamine or midazolam infusions twice weekly for two weeks, with follow-up assessments for 10 weeks. Ideal candidates will have experience running clinical or industry-sponsored research studies in a high paced clinical environment working with a multidisciplinary team while coordinating multiple schedules.
