Hi folks, I wanted to send some information on an event happening this Thursday afternoon sponsored by DivIn's LGBTQ+ Committee.  This will be the first of what is planned to be monthly discussions.  I hope some of you can make it!

This Thursday (October 28) at 3:30pm is the first of our monthly LGBT subcommittee faculty/student meetings! The hope of these is to build a general community between us and students and to talk about things that affect us both. This one will be about the campus preacher issues and general homophobia on campus. Personally, I’ve had a number of students express how upset/threatened they are by the campus preachers, so I think it will be a good discussion.



Our first one is on Zoom, so please click this link to register if you’re interested. Please feel free to share this with any other faculty/students you think might be interested. I haven’t seen the flyer displayed on the CHSS TVs so far, so I think word of mouth right now is the only way this is getting publicized.
