For students who have not received Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) assistance, but have expressed the need, have them reach out to the Student Money Management Center. Staff at the SMMC will work with the student to find resources to help meet their needs. In addition, SHSU has established a Bearkat Emergency Fund that students can apply for.
