Subject: Art history guest talk: Kéla Jackson "Un-Becoming: Deborah Roberts on Black Girlhood"

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to invite you to an upcoming art history guest lecture (via Zoom) on February 21, at 5pm. Kéla Jackson, a PhD student at Harvard University, will be discussing visual arts as a form of intervention in the stereotypical visions of Black girlhood in America. Attached please find a flyer for the event. Please encourage your students to attend, and feel free to forward this flyer to faculty and students who may be interested.
Advanced registration is required via this link<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fshsu.zoom.us%2Fmeeting%2Fregister%2FtZAtfuitrzouEtY3DUFPVINPTciNkIquZXet&data=04%7C01%7CCEH003%40SHSU.EDU%7C23167d2cb0a6420b2aac08d9df6058b9%7Cb153cbd8b39247449b39e3cdb8677f00%7C0%7C0%7C637786427161282820%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=uH7763rFP1CtVlpl3dYKEQiJXti8YAGM8o6jhLelsO8%3D&reserved=0>. Looking forward to "seeing" you there,
Barbara.
