REMINDER:


We are inviting abstract submissions for virtual poster presentations at the 2023 Council of University Directors of Clinical Psychology (CUDCP) Mid-Winter Meeting (MWM). As a virtual poster session, authors are not required to be present for the event.


Submissions covering research and scholarship relevant to all areas of clinical psychology (e.g., mental health disparities, psychopathology nomenclature, etiology, course, or correlates; evidence-based approaches to assessment and/or psychotherapy), or training thereof (e.g., recruitment, retention, supervision, training, program evaluation) are welcome.


Authors are asked to prepare their abstract submission with particular attention to what training directors need to know to train students on the leading edge of the science in clinical psychology. Preference will be given to data-based posters.



Please send submissions (including poster title, all author names and affiliations, and abstract) as a single attachment (no longer than 1 page) to disparities at unt.edu<mailto:disparities at unt.edu>. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis until December 31, 2022. Instructions on poster preparation will be provided following acceptance. Skills beyond those usually required to create a poster (e.g., PowerPoint / Keynote) will not be necessary.

As a reminder, CUDCP policy prohibits member representatives or others from posting requests for research or surveys on the CUDCP listserv. Given the number of studies that would like access to DCTs and our faculty and students, this policy is intended to preserve the intended function of CUDCP listserv. The only exception to this policy is research conducted directly for the benefit of CUDCP, by CUDCP, such as the studies conducted by CUDCP student representatives, the DCT survey, or “flashpolls”.
